Rawmarsh and Parkgate Partnership is a charity dedicated to delivering projects that provide real benefits to the people living in the former coal and steel towns of Rawmarsh and Parkgate.

Since it was set-up the Partnership has worked to make Rosehill Victoria Park a place for people liivng in the area to enjoy.

A few years ago the Park was very rundown with evidence of alcohol and drug misuse.  Then the Partnership working with Friends of Rosehill Park and Rotherham MBC started to get it into shape.
New railings, streetlights, benches and litter-bins were installed.  Families started to return to the park and with the introduction of a multi-use games area, tennis courts and Crazy Golf Course its been improving ever since.   Now the Park is used on a regular basis by local schools with two or three of them relying on it for their outdoor activities. The partnership regularly arranges for young people from the area to plant bulbs and trees in  the Park - an opportunity they might not otherwise get.

Currently there are 30 Friends of Rosehill Park who meet every 6 weeks in Rosehill Victoria Park, Rawmarsh. A few years ago the Friends began working with Rawmarsh & Parkgate Partnership and the council to return the Park to the community.  This Summer to encourage more people to use the Park the Friends introduced picnic tables and a marquee in the Park.  The old minature railway was restored and a series of family fun days were introduced.  The Park's latest family event was held 7 December 2008 when families worked together to make their own Christmas wreaths.

Josh began his career in motor-racing at an early age.  Like Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher and other great racing icons Josh began his racing becoming TKM Winter Champion in 2005 - 2006.

In 2007 Josh attended the Silverstone Race Drivers Academy emerging as Champion on the Stowe Circuit.

In 2008 Josh signed for Marque Cars and following in the footsteps of former world champion Nigel Mansell competed in Formula Ford 1600.  In his debut season in the Carphone Warehouse FF 1600 of his 14 starts, he acheived 12 champion and podium positions and went on to break the circuit record at Caldwell Park.
These amazing achievements led Motorsport News to list Josh in the top 50 motorsport drivers and a definite talent to watch in 2009.
